Alexander Wang––also known as the Parsons dropout––launched his first full women's collection in 2007.
His label embodies casually cool downtown style, drawing inspiration from the eighties, French chic, and rock grunge––always finished with a slouchy just-rolled-out-of-bed, model-off-duty look that continuous to be so sought after.
Two years later, in 2009, Wang launched a diffusion line of pre-weathered cotton tees, tanks, and T-shirt dresses, called T by Alexander Wang. At an easier price point, the sister line offers products equally well-crafted but easier to wear than the ready-to-wear line. The clothes are still chic, still very downtown and off-duty, but made more accessible. And who doesn't love that?
Y2 House carries both T by Alexander Wang and Alexander Wang ready-to-wear.
